The new frontier program developed by President Kennedy was made in hopes of helping the economy, providing international aid, national defense and to help our countries space program take the world lead. This program was unpopular with large cooperation’s as it forced consumers not to pay more for a product than it was worth. Kennedy was also an advocate of civil rights; he made way for reforms that came later in the civil rights movement. Kennedy was also responsible for the increase in the countries minimum wage for the American workers. In the international light Kennedy accomplished two major things. Frist he developed the Peace Corps. This organization was established to help the poorer nations of the world by sending teachers to these nations to help education levels and to help increase the economic development of the countries. The second other major accomplishment was called the alliance for progress. This program provided health and education aid in Latin America. Kennedy was also responsible
