Unformatted text preview: Writing an essay can be easy for some but if you are like me its can also be difficult. Throughout this course I have learn a lot about writing and editing essay papers. I have also learned there are several forms of essay papers such as research papers, compare and contrast papers, and etc. For the most part each essay is broken down with the same type of format introduction, body, conclusion and abstract if necessary. The first thing you should do when you are an assigned an essay is come up with a topic if one has not been giving. After your topic is selected you should start brainstorming ideas for your topic. Typically I like to scatter write ideas or sentences then go back and take out which ones are attention grabbers. Once I have a general idea of my ideas or key point I start preparing a thesis statement.
