Brittney Acevedo Professor Jalajas One career I was interested in was a market research analyst. The general tasks of the job are to collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand and to prepare reports of those findings and create data graphically and in written text. Another task a market research analyst has to perform is Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other professionals. Some skills needed for the job are reading comprehension, time management, writing, active listening, active learning and critical thinking. In order to become a market research analyst you need a four year bachelor degree and employees in these occupations usually need several years of work-related experience, on-the-job training, and/or vocational training. The average salary for entry level workers is 41,670 and for experienced workers its 89,730. Based on the
