The scientific method is a process that scientists use to explore observations and to also answer questions that they may have. Scientists use the scientific method to look for the cause and effect in the relationships in nature. Another way of taking it is that the scientists that are using the scientific method are changing the design of an experiment so that the change of one item can cause a different reaction to another in a predictable way.

Then you will find out if your hypothesis is true or if it is partial true or not true at all. Then you report the results and if your hypothesis is not true, you try again, and conduct another hypothesis....
