SAWYER SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT SUFFOLK UNIVERSITY FIN 560 – Experiential Component in Finance Course Coordinators – Professor Karen Simonyan/Georges Tsafack Guidelines for the Student All finance majors must complete this non-credit course, preferably during the junior or senior year. You must register for this course at the registrar’s office. This course is required for graduation. In order to fulfill the requirements for this course, the student must have an approved record of 150 hours of finance experience. This experience may be acquired through: Full- or part-time work Internship Co-operative education The work must be related to the finance profession and must be documented as such by the employer or supervisor. A Pass/Fail grade will be given to the student after the course coordinator receives the Supervisor/Employer Report (on next page), which is completed and signed by the student's employer.
