Suez canal is an artificial water way in Egypt. It allows to reach Asia from Europe without long journey around Africa. The idea was encouraged by French government and by private company. All the work was controlled by this private company. For the certain period they were using forced labor of Egyptian workers. The British government had opposed the project of the canal. As one of the diplomatic moves against the canal, it disapproved the use of slave labor on the canal. It sends armed men to start a rebellion among workers. After the rebellion Britain just never leaves. Meiji Restoration got it’s name after the new Japanese emperor Meiji (1867-1912). The restoration was a number of events in political and social life of Japan that influenced this country a lot. The leaders of Meiji restoration were trying to combine western world achievements with eastern values. As an example, while building new army they got instructors from Germany(because Germany had the best army at that time); while
