Interviewee: Dr. Kim (friend of my father) Main idea: how did your race affected your opportunities in late U.S.A? Q) When did you immigrate to America? A) I moved to America approximately 35 or 36 years ago. (1975 or 1974) Q) Where did you live before you immigrate to America? A) I lived in S. Korea. Im from the city called Seoul. Q) Is there a specific reason why you decided to move to America? A) Yes, I am biological psychologist. This major was not well known subject in Korea back then, so I needed more resources to research about human biological psychology which were provided in America. Q) When you moved to America, were you welcomed? Or the opposite of the welcomed? A) Well… I thought at first, I was welcomed because hence im the professor of the Seoul University (the most popular and acknowledged University in Korea) they seem they treated fair. I didn’t even realize that I was being discriminated until the major event happen. Q) Is it okay to share that major event that made you realized that you
