(Available in SFSU Book Store) Software : MS EXCEL software package will be used extensively. Course Description and Motivation : This course is an introduction to the typical subjects and problems associated with the production of both goods and services. Production and Operations Management is the process of managing people and resources in order to create a product or service. The material in this course is designed to prepare you for the challenges of improving productivity in various business sectors. Students are expected to gain a thorough understanding of different theoretical concepts, and develop the ability to apply them to various real-world situations. Prerequisite Courses:
