Don’t leave hanging points; in other words, if I ask you to explain the significance of the fish, do not simply say that, “it represents Addie to Vardaman.” That’s only the beginning of the answer. Try to think past your first thought or idea, test it against examples from the novel, elaborate on it. Your answers do not have to be typed, except for your answers to two questions of your choice, which you should develop into one page (each) typed responses (you cannot use #10).
