Math 3B - Project #3 Goal: For you to be able to read math tables. Depending on where you go to school, you might have to use these to do math problems. Sometimes we just get tired of deriving the same old formulas and using tables certainly expedites the solving of some otherwise tough or time consuming integrals. Directions: Look at the tables in the back of your textbook to solve the problems listed below. You might have to manipulate the integrand to get them into a form that can be looked up in a table. Beware! Two correct answers can look very different. Problems to submit: Answer the questions below, as well as the assigned problems from 7.6: 1, 7, 14. With each problem solved, you must indicate which table you used and show any work that you needed to perform in order to make the integrand into a form that could be looked up in a table. #1:
