What is Sound Design? Sound design is the recording and arrangement of sounds to relate to the image. For narrative films, sound is often the least noticeable formal element yet one which has key narrative functions. Sound design constructs time and space lends to naturalism or expressionism of film analyzes a scene for story information differentiates subjective and objective perspectives
