What are some of the uses and difference between the 2G iPhone and 3G iPhone? 2G iPhone only supported WiFi, GSM, and Bluetooth, this meant that the speed surfing the Internet was limited. 3G did support the same as the 2G did, but what made the 3G better was its speed and experience surfing, watching YouTube videos, and downloading date onto the phone from the Internet. The 3G also supported GPS, which was not included in the original iPhone. Both the 2G and 3G iPhone weight about the same, one down fall of the new version the 3G eats the battery life only having about 5 hours of talk time. The 2G version would have about 8 hours of talk time....
