AK/ADMS 2511 Management Information Systems – POD WORK (Revised: Sep 9, 2010) Your in-class POD (group of up to six people) will be participating in class discussions, doing drills that will help for studying, as well as providing materials for the rest of the class. There is 15% of your grade allocated to POD work as follows: Analysis and presentation of two cases , as listed in the course outline, (6% for each). Maximum ten minutes time per case. PODs are evaluated as a group. Peer evaluation of another POD's presentation: 3% Your POD must complete a presentation (Part 1) and interactive classroom activity (Part 2) for each case you are assigned. You will also be required to provide specific supporting documentation. See Course outline for POD schedule. See below for further details. Requirements for each CLASS PRESENTATION and SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION: CLASS PRESENTATION : MAXIMUM TOTAL 10 MINUTES FOR Parts 1 and 2. Part 1 -- Case analysis and take-up of assigned questions (Recommended -- 6 minutes): 1. MS-PowerPoint Overheads: Maximum three overheads, with font size 24 point or larger. 2. Two relevant web links, to be incorporated into your presentation and shown to the class. OR One relevant video clip, no more than two minutes long, to be incorporated into your presentation and shown to the class.
