If customers click on logo, go to vendor's site and buy, them vendor pays commission to partners Example from case: - "Direct links to manufacturers' web sites are also available so customers … Products that are not available through BPS can then be ordered directly from a manufacturer, with BPS receiving a commission." Product customization - Customers use the internet to self-configure products or services. - Sellers then price them and fulfill them quickly. Example from case: - "Using the website, major industrial, institutional and commercial customers often configure large product orders in formats other than standard quantities. BPS will specially price these unusual orders for their valued customers." B) Describe two general controls that BPS should have included in their e-commerce systems to ensure the security and privacy of BPS and customer information.
