Training and Development Have you ever gone through an employee orientation? How did the experience meet the goals (i.e., reduce anxiety, reduce turnover, save time, develop realistic expectations) of orientation? Offer two (2) suggestions for improvement of the program. Respond to at least two of your classmates' postings. I have been through one employee orientation, which was a little over twenty years ago. I am, and have been with the same company for this long. Back when I started, honestly, I would not even call what they gave me an orientation. It was, here is your desk, computer and phone, and you will either sink or swim. Since I am still with the company after twenty year, you can see I was a good swimmer. But I cannot begin to tell you how many employees we would go through the first seven or eight years.
