Sarah Anderson Business Ethics 3520 David Smith Writing Assignment 2 5.Describe the qualities you believe are necessary in an “ethical leader.” Provide support for your contentions and explain why a leader should evidence these qualities in order to be considered “ethical” from your perspective. Then identify someone you believe embodies these qualities in her or his leadership and provide examples. Finally, provide an example of someone who you believe does not possess these qualities and describe that person’s leadership. The qualities one should posses in order to be considered an ethical leader would be ones such as integrity, empathy, fairness, honesty, etc. They should be open minded and considerate to others thoughts and feelings when making a decision. These qualities would deem them as an ethical leader because they would be seen as a fair person, and someone who cares about their employees and what is right and wrong in the workforce.
