Slide 2 Inactive signaling: Cubitus interruptus (Ci): zinc- finger transcription factor  Forms a complex with the  kinesin- ike protein Costal-2  (Cos-2) and is localized in the  cytoplasm bound to cellular  microtubules. Fused: S/T kinase that targets Cos-2 for phosphorylation  in the process of disassembling this complex.  Suppressor  of Fused = Su(Fu).  Function in unclear.
