The aim is to explore an available market for a new energy beverage in Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. and the beverage includes CSD and non-CSD brands. Through vertical Integration, Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. has become a major integrated brand owner, bottler, and distributor of nonalcoholic beverages. It received a large number of loyal customers and sustain its important role in the market. But how to introduce a new brand energy beverage to the already competitive market must be a challengeable mission. First, I want to use SWOT to analyze the existed position and power of the company. Strength: there are seven strengths that the company brings to the marketplace. 1. Strong Portfolio of Leading, Consumer- Preferred Brands: The Company is the No.1 Favored CSD Company in the United States and the only major beverage concentrated manufacturer with year-over-year market share growth, and the brands of Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. enjoy high levels of consumer awareness, preference, and loyalty rooted in their rich heritage. 2. Integrated Business Model: its brand ownership, bottling, and distribution are more integrated than the U.S. operations of its principal competitors and that this differentiation provides the company with a competitive advantage. 3. Strong Customer Relationships: Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc.brands have long-standing relationships with many of its top customers, such as some of the largest bottlers and distributors, some of the largest and most important U.S. retailers, including Wal-Mart, Safeway, Kroger, and Target; and some of the
