Unformatted text preview: 11.)Describe how natural selection works using the following words: replication, mutation, polymorphism, competition, extinction .- in order for some things to persist, replication has to take place, and during replication, mutations or mistakes will naturally occur. Many different forms begin to exist called polymorphism. Once you have these many form, competition will take place to allow the most efficient form to dominate others. The shorter stands will be more efficient because they can duplicate faster. When the lesser forms die out it is called extinction. 12.) How does a constraining micro-environment improve replication?- micro environment allows for replication to take place because it makes it harder for RNA to diffuse out, and therefore when RNA is in a small environment it allows RNA to stay close to each other so they can pair up and replicate. 13.) Draw a phospholipid membrane with the following labels: water, polar heads, non-polar tails . - LectureQuestionsWeek4 1.) What is a liposome? How is a liposome made?...
