New Plans for the Company The new strategy of the company is to “provide full-service cleaning solutions for organizations in the health care” (University of Phoenix, 2005, p. 1). I will be organizing a sales team made up from select employees, from both Interclean and Envirotech, whom will be implementing our new development plan. This new development and organizational plan will create new jobs; therefore, a job analysis will be conducted to determine our future staffing requirements and needs. A job analysis “describes the process of obtaining information about jobs” (Cascio, 2006, p. 2). Our new sales team will be observing workers and recording information relative to these new jobs that will be created. I encourage everyone to participate in the questionnaires, which will soon be administered, because this information will also be helpful to form the descriptions and specifications of the new jobs. The information will also be beneficial for future use within our new development team. Our new team will also be responsible creating the working plan that will be parallel to our business strategy. A workforce planning system is used as “an effort to anticipate future business and environmental demands on an organization and to provide qualified people to fulfill that business and satisfy those demands” (Cascio, 2006, p. 4). All team members will be cross-trained in different task within our sales department to aid us in our staffing requirement. This operational training will be held onsite in our conference rooms. Each sales personnel will be schedule to attend the two week training class to develop his or her sales and customer service skills. The facilitator will also explain the components of how your performance in sales and service will be measured.
