WHAT IS ABA 2 What is Applied behavior analysis: Articles in Review In comparing the assigned articles by Krentz, H., Miletenerger, R., & Valbuena, D. (2016), “Using token reinforcement to increase walking for adults with intellectual disabilities” and the article by Marsic, A., Berman, M.E., Barry, T.D., & McCloskey, M.S. (2015), “The relationship between intentional self-injurious behavior and the loudness of dependence of auditory evoke potential in reasearch volunteers”, it is clear that the article that is supported by the dimensions of applied behavior analysis (ABA) as defined by Baer, D.M,. Wolf, M.M, & Risley, T.R. (1968) is Krentz, H., et. al and his replication of the study on using token economy to increase exercise behavior in adults with developmental disabilites. As stated in the Baer, D.M., Wolf, M.M., & Risley, T.R, 1985, pg 91-97, the seven dimensions of behavior are applied, behavioral, analytic, technoloogical, conceptually systematic, effective, and generality. These dimensions are most in line with the article by Krentz, H., Miltenber, R., & Valbuena, D., 2016 and can replicate elements of behavioral, anaytic, technological, conceptually systematic, and effective.
