DIFFERENTIATING BETWEEN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE 2 Differentiating Between Public and Private Organizations A social policy that I feel may affect me in the future as a human service worker would be tax-funded abortions or abortions in general. I live in Oklahoma and the current law of abortion is, “The doctor must turn the screen towards her and describe fetal dimensions and details like the number of fingers and toes and heart activity” (James, 2010). This article really bothered me because I have never really researched specific laws on abortion in Oklahoma and to put a rape victim through this is horrible. I am against abortion unless under certain circumstances such as rape, birth defects, or harm to the mother. I don’t believe that tax-payers should pay for abortions for a woman’s mistake whenever there are many options available out there to prevent pregnancy. In 2007, President Obama met with Planned Parenthood and promised that mandatory
