In return for this fee, (managed plans) provide a wide variety of medical services, from office visits to hospitalization and surgery” A patient benefits plans are that “on average, HMOs are the least expensive health option for employers and employees” When it comes to traditional insurance plan the care that they provide is still great. The drawback is that person only gets the doctor the list approves of so they do not get to pick out the doctor they would like to have. A providers advantage to care is that they have a steady patient flow especially if they decide to take care of that certain companies employees so that means every employee would go to that doctor.
