Brittney Bryson October 27, 2010 HRM240 When first reading the Deloitte and Touche Case study, I thought the problem that occurred first was the fact that the company's new hires were made up of fifty percent women. But going back and reading again the problems were that the work environment had limited opportunity for advancement, the company was exclusive from mentoring and networking, and the company was not handling work and family issues, and I think the fact that the company was made up of all women was a positive thing because these concerns do not seem to be geared toward men so they may have been ignored. 2. Did their changes fix the underlying problems? Explain. Yes, the changes that Deloitte and Touche made fixed the underlying problems.
