Applying Learning 1. What are three things that you want to continue doing in your relationships? - Eye contact: my parents always emphasized about the importance of making eye contact with other people. They tell me that eye contact shows the confidence as it was said in the class as well. They even checked my boyfriend’s eyes to see if he makes eye contact with them when I first introduced him. I try to make eye contact when I talk to people to show that I am listening to them carefully. In this course, I also learned that the eye contact gives people trust and credit. So, I will continue making good eye contact (no gazing or staring) with people, especially for special occasions like work interviews. - M-Time: I used to be a P-Time person until I came to the U.S. since it was one of Korean cultures. However, as I live here, I noticed that people treat their time very valuably. As time passes by, I also realized that when my time was wasted by someone who came late, it was very frustrating. Although it was hard to fix it, now I am a total M-Time person. I arrive to a meeting 5 to 10 minutes earlier because I feel more comfortable waiting for a little bit rather than being there right on time.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
