Completion of Stat 1102 (or Math 1031 or Math 1041) is preferred. The Dean’s Office has a new policy to un-register students who have enrolled without meeting the course prerequisite . If you have not met the prerequisite, or are uncertain, please contact your Academic Advisor. COURSE OBJECTIVES This course covers basic descriptive statistics and an introduction to probability and statistical inference. Topics include probability distributions, random sampling and sampling distributions, point and interval estimation, and hypothesis testing.
