How to: Answer Homework Questions 1. Type your answer and use Times New Roman, size 12 font, and 1 inch margins. 2. Answer all of the questions separately and number them. 3. Answer the questions in paragraph form. You may answer in one or more paragraphs for each question. 4. Each answer must include a citation, unless the answer calls for your opinion. 5. Your answers must include citations from the case(s) to get full credit. a. A citation tells the reader which case or statute supports the point you are making. Citation Examples: Section 3731 of the Motor Vehicle Code provides that “A person shall not drive…[a] vehicle while…under the influence of alcohol to a degree which renders the person incapable of safe driving” In Katko v. Briney the court determined that a property owner was not allowed to defend unoccupied property with deadly force, unless it was in defense of the homeowner’s life.
