Even though young members of society are exposed to different violent media, there is no solid evidence that they will emulate what they see or play and commit a violent crime based on the different media. I. First main point: Studies have shown that exposure to violent media such as movies, music and video games have not played a major role in the increase of violent crimes. A. Supporting details: Many universities have performed many different studies in reference to the effects of exposure to violent media . B. Supporting details: This topic is still in debate today with new studies being performed with the advancement of technology today . II. Second main point: Many adults have placed direct blame on violent media for not only violent crimes but petty crimes as well that are committed in today’s society. A.
