CheckPoint Week 2 Court rejects teen's appeal in Internet  music case music-case/f302g21DdkyHs8gDywdCtQ.cspx Original Story Link: harper.html This scenario is an issue that is always going to be labeled controversial with  arguments being presented on whether filesharing is legal or illegal in today’s society.  There are many artists that support filesharing while others are against this situation.  The lawsuit against the 16 year old teenager in reference to her illegal  downloading of different music states that she knowingly downloaded music that is  protected under copyright against piracy and therefore should be held financially  accountable. After reading the entire article in regards to the lawsuit, I have mixed  feelings about how this case is being handled.  Many members of society have  downloaded various things that include movies, tv shows, music and computer programs
