Hard Drive: This hardware stores all data and  software that is necessary for a computer to  function. CD/DVD Drive: This drive is used to create a  backup of all information that is stored on the hard  drive. RAM: This component allows the PC to store the  process commands in order for the PC to perform  the requested functions.

Keyboard: Device that allows the user to input  information into the computer Mouse: Device that allows the user to maneuver  through Windows. These components are identified as internal as they  are the primary hardware to make a PC function.
