In this question you will consider the following four erythrocyte proteins. Protein A is hemoglobin, which is a cytosolic protein. Proteins B and C are peripheral membrane proteins. Protein D is an integral membrane protein that makes three passes through the membrane. The locations and orientations of these four proteins are shown in the diagram below.
