Exam 2 Review Format for Exam 2 Exam Date: Tuesday, March 29, 2011 Material covered: Chapters 1-7; also see the specific list of material below. Closed book and notes. Two sheets of formulas allowed (both sides) prepared by students. Stats tables will be provided. Primarily problems, but some qualitative questions such as: “What does a percentile of a continuous distribution represent?” “What’s the difference between a point estimate and an interval estimate?” “Define the primary result of the CLT.” or “What happens to the width of a CI when n is increased?” 7-8 problems with multiple parts that fit together as on Exam 1.
