Enterprise systems are very helpful to an organization’s success. An enterprise system is a software product that is made to integrate computer systems that run all the different departments or phases of an enterprise’s operations to get all the systems to cooperate with each other with a centralized database, so the organization can get up to date information from anywhere with-in the organization. An enterprise system helps with the coordination of departments, like sales and marketing, accounting, finance, human resources, inventory, and production and manufacturing. An Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system consolidates all of an organization’s operations into a uniform and enterprise system environment. Supply Chain Management Software helps an organization keep the correct amount of supplies in stock, supply forecasts; this software helps an organization make better decisions about how much product to manufacture and when.
