1 Zharia Harris Dr. Chisholm Freshman Composition 12 October 2019 Life as a challenge Since we were young, we’d always get asked the infamous question,” what do you want to be when you grow up?”. We already knew what we wanted to be and had our life planned out with all the details within, but life happens and changes mostly everything. Nobody can predict the future nor know what will happen next, only God does and he’ll reveal some things to us but he has already planned out how he wants us to live our lives and we have to learn to accept it, be flexible, and do as God wishes. Wednesday March 27, 2019 will be a day that I will never stop playing in my head. It was three days before my eighteenth birthday, I was so excited and filled with so much energy of marking off one of the milestones in my life. I woke up at 6:30 that morning to start my usual routine of washing my face, brushing my teeth, doing my hair, getting dressed, making breakfast, and heading out the door for school. My mom, little sister, Brooke, and I all rode in the car as our mom drove Brooke to school. After that, me and my mom continued to take me to school after stopping to Burger King where we often got breakfast from on some mornings. I got the usual six count French toast sticks with a sprite. Soon after, I got dropped off by the gym so I could sit in the commons area to eat, do homework, edit videos, watch YouTube, or take a quick refreshing nap. The bell rung at 8:20 to dismiss us to first block, which was AP Literature for me.
