Instructor: Fred Bourgoin E-mail: [email protected] Office hours: MW 9:30–10:30 a.m., TuTh 3:30–4:30 p.m. (in G-201) and by appointment Website: www.laney.edu/fredbourgoin Course Content Partial differentiation, Jacobians, transformations, multiple integrals, theorems of Green and Stokes, differential forms, vectors and vector functions, geometric coordinates, and vector calculus. (That’s all of chapters 12–20 in the text.) Student Learning Outcomes These are the skills that you will have acquired upon completing the course. Graph multivariable and vector valued functions. Compute derivatives and integrals of multivariable functions. Construct and interpret models of circulation and force using vector valued func- tions.
