Current Events Reports 1).  You will be required to review a  current news article  one or two times each  month over the course of the class. The articles must focus on  environmental   science topics or issues  that we are covering during the specific week.  Example : Chapter 3 is about ecosystems and how they work.  You can  find articles about a coral reef, an intestinal parasite or about the behavior  of wolves and they would all be relevant because they all having  something to do with the chapter topic and are even found in the text.   2).   Of the approximately 14 articles, 7 should be from a newspapers (i.e. The  Boston Globe, New York Times, or others), acquired from popular magazines  (Newsweek, Time, National Geographic, Discovery etc.) or science journals  (Science, Nature, Scientific American).  The other 7 may be from approved  internet sources. 3).
