A39970775 During today’s readings Schutt discussed the differences between inductive and deductive reasoning. He goes on to explain the types of research which come into play when using these methods. Essentially deductive reasoning takes a bunch of ideas and comes to one more precise conclusion about these vague concepts. Inductive reason takes specific examples and comes to a more general conclusion based upon these facts. Wysocki discussed the various perceptions of reality and how different people have different influences in their lives which affect how they interpret their surroundings. Influences in life may include religion and entertainment, which all lead people to alternate realities until they emerge from these worlds back into their paramount reality. The chapters that were read in preparation for class last week discussed the methods of research a lot more than the readings for this week. Instead, this week’s readings talked about reasoning for conclusions and how everyone has a different conclusion. It is very hard to research topics
