Character Collage – Unit #1 - Short Story Due: Friday February 18 th , 2011 Choose a character from one of the short stories we have studied in class, and: 1. Create a list of character traits, which you believe describe your character 2. Create a chart that looks like the one below. Fill the chart in with direct quotations from the story that reveal the character to the reader. What the narrator says about the character: What other characters say about the character: What the character says about themselves: How the character behaves; what they do: 3. Create a collage using magazine cut-outs, headlines/words or internet images
