Introduction to Criminal Justice CJ 1001 Assignment on Crime and Criminal Justice Data Due Date____________ This assignment has two parts. In the first part you are asked to explore national crime  and/or  criminal  justice  data  on  any  of  the  following   three   sources:  Sourcebook   of  Criminal Justice Statistics, Bureau for Justice Statistics, and FBI Uniform Crime Reports  (links to all are available on Blackboard under External Links; for those of you who have  problems accessing Blackboard, the links are provided below). You are to look at data on  one particular type of crime or aspect of criminal justice—your choice based on what you  are interested in—and describe and comment on what the data you are looking at tell you  (i.e., trends over time and how that strikes you) in a maximum one page paper, typed.  Attach the table, figure, publication, etc. that you use!
