San Miguel 1 Camille San Miguel Professor Dorland/ Miss Susan Kelly HONR 100 10 November 2010 Journal Entry Number Ten Last week was an average week. On Friday I had my second Chemistry exam so I spent the whole week studying for it. On the first exam I was one standard deviation below the average, so I needed to do well on the second exam to bring up my average. The grades came out a few hours after I took the exam and I ended up with a score of 74 out of 100, one standard deviation above the mean. Although a 74% is generally a C letter grade, in Chemistry this 74 actually translates into a high B or possibly low A after the curve. I was very proud of the change in my test scores, and even more relieved that I was able to figure out a study system that worked for me. In the coming weekends, a lot of exciting events are going on. This weekend, the FUEL Leadership Conference will be taking place in the Stamp Student Union. As a part of the Asian American Student Union’s Freshman Council, I will be helping run Friday
