Multi-core processors have several processors on a single chip. The first problem was the ability to spontaneously tunell at random “tunneling”. The second problem was that heat generated by the chip. Typical multiprocessing configurations - master /slave, loosely coupled, and symmetric Master/slave - asymmetric multiprocessing system single processor with additional slave processor . MASTER/ SLAVE – ADVANTAGE - IS ITS SIMPLICITY.
