Unit 2 Assignment: All leaders are mangers, not all managers are leaders "If people are coming to work excited . . . if they're making mistakes freely and fearlessly . . . if they're having fun . . . if they're concentrating doing things, rather than preparing reports and going to meetings - then somewhere you have leaders." Robert Townsend First and for most, a manager needs to be knowledgeable. Every leader has to get the core skill-set for the chosen occupation mastered. This includes both job skills, and leadership skills. One has to know the job, and know how to actively lead a team doing the job. A manager also needs to work and play on a professional level. Nothing shakes the very foundation of a team as quickly as a leader who fails to demonstrate the attitude of a performance. A true leader always seeks the most public venue possible to convey praise on the team, and any team member.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
