Based on what you have learned, which of Kurzweil's predictions do you agree with, and which do you doubt? Out of Kurzweil’s predictions, I agree with his prediction regarding the future when he said these are very powerful technologies; they both empower our promise and our peril, so we have to have the will to apply them to the right powers (Kurzweil, 2005). One of Kurzweil’s predictions that I strongly agree with is his prediction that by 2010 computers will disappear. They will be imbedded in our clothing, in our environment; images will be written directly to our retina, providing full-immersion virtual reality. Augmented reality. We’ll be interacting with virtual personalities (Kurzweil, 2005). Why do you agree with that prediction of Kurzweil’s? I agree with Kurzweil regarding the strength of our technologies and that we need to possess the will to apply those strengths properly.
