Grief Interview NURS 103 Clinical Project Identify someone you know who has experienced the loss of a loved-one and is open to talking  with you about it.  Guidelines for the interview are listed below: Use /practice the therapeutic communication skills you learned in this program. Be sensitive to and respectful of the person’s feelings – you are treading on sacred  ground. Don’t try to “fix” their pain or loss – you can’t. Just honor their feelings and the memory  of their loved one by showing genuine interest and listening attentively.  I. Ask him/her to describe the individual they lost and whatever they would like to share  about the loss experience. II. Ask the following questions and include the answers in your written paper. a. What have other people said or done to support you in the grieving and healing  process that has been most helpful? b.
