Most families have had special trips spent together which are attached within their memories. These memories are as loving and precious as a baby. Trips that are unforgettable, such as these, are the strong bonds between families that maintain unity. Similarly, I will always remember my trip to India. This was when I first realized what my culture was. I observed and went to many places in India that made me appreciate my own heritage. This trip left an everlasting, significant change in my life. My trip to India has gotten my family closer to me through the various Indian backgrounds we have adapted in our family. To begin with, one of the things I learned was the language in India. Almost everyone spoke the official language, Hindi. Understanding it helped me get along well with the people. Everything was done in Hindi, even in schools. The dances people had in the villages were based on Hindi songs. The twirled smoothly and entertained tourists. These Indian dances were related to my culture. My culture amused me just like magicians did. Nothing seemed awkward or
