Lesson 1-2 Order of Operations Objective: Use order of operations to evaluate expressions. Vocabulary: Order of operations 1. Find the values of expressions inside grouping symbols, such as  parentheses (), brackets [], and as indicated by fraction bars. 2. Do all multiplications and/or divisions from left to right. 3. Do all additions and/or subtractions from left to right. Evaluating Applying the properties of numbers to find the value of an algebraic  expression.  Replace the variables with known values and then use  the order of operations. You score 9 points in each of your first five basketball games and then 4 points in the sixth game.  What  is the total T of your points? Did you score 49 points or 81 points?
