Sarah Rhein CFA 111 March 24 th , 2011 Relationship of Society Advancement and Nature Re-embracing a Cooperative Attitude The picture I chose is that of a car in a field. A beat up, vintage, red automobile appears to have crashed in a field. It has being overgrown by nature and we can only see parts of the car now. The field is very lush with a lot of bush, vines, and other plants growing at a rapid rate. The scene tells a story and that story is much more important than the specific of the picture itself. This picture represents changes in our world and changes that need to be made in our world. The Stone Age marked the birth of the modern human 2.5 million years ago. It was during that time that humans began using tools (Hirst, 2011). The fittest humans became hunters and gatherers 20,000 years ago and relied heavily on the resources of the land for survival (Hirst, 2011). The idea of domesticating crops and animals came 12,000 years ago and has been used ever since (Hirst, 2011). Early civilizations developed between 3000 and 1500BC with sophisticated political and social organizations (Hirst, 2011).

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
