Unformatted text preview: Sarah Rhein CFA 111 April 5 th , 2011 Baby Steps I t was the year 1942 in New York City and so many people were suffering from traumatic losses of loved ones because of the United States’ entry into World War I I. Lucie was no stranger to this loss. After the tragic death of her husband at Pearl Harbor, Lucie was surrounded by ghost of her past life with him even in a big city like NYC. She needed to cope with her loss, but did not know how. She started a journal at the suggestion of her best friend Margaret. Friends and family were extremely supportive, but she nothing seems to be working.
