This places considerable responsibility on to the shoulders of the Board's officers at the operational level. Most of the Board's officers are aged between 25 and 40. They are selected from among the cream of the graduates in architecture, building, engineering and economics each year. Of the 60 graduate level officers, 920ossess the equivalent of a first class or upper second from some of the leading universities in Britain, Australia, Canada, the United States and Singapore: 400f these are schooled at Oxford, Cambridge, MIT and Imperial College. Almost 85% have at least five years of experience in the construction sector before joining the Board. Most opt to join the Board because of the Board's reputation for fast track career development in the construction sector.
