From the rich picture, or one of the other ways of finding out, a number of themes surface which can then be captured as a set of relevant viewpoints, or "relevant systems". This part of the process is effectively interfacing the two modes of thought, systems thinking and "real world" thinking, where themes of context-related "real world" thinking become relevant systems of idealised abstract systems thinking.
